Since the dawn of civilization, mysterious forces have plucked ancient armies from their savage battlefields, and placed them on the Battle GridÔ  of Eternity. Caught in a maelstrom of space and time, they fight countless battles with enemies from many famous conflicts: The Hundred Years War, French Revolution, American Revolution, Civil War, World War I and others. Surviving armies savor victory, while the defeated rise again to oppose them.

There are battles to be won. Are you ready for more?  

Battle GridÔ  uses the Skirmish Combat SystemÔ to resolve close-quarters battle. Each player controls a squad of soldiers from different historical periods. All troop commands are resolved by dice rolls, with the special abilities of each army playing an important strategic role in the conflict.

Object of the Game
Eliminate all of your opponent’s soldiers in close quarters, skirmish combat.  

Number of Players: 2-4  Ages 8 to Adult.

Playing Time: Designed for fast play - an average 2-player game lasts about 10-15 minutes.  

What You Get:
The starter set contains two 54mm unpainted plastic armies (12 figures in all) from the American Revolutionary War: US Militia and British Infantry (shown below - colors and poses may vary).

Also included in the starter set is the Battle Grid™ game board, 10 Wound Makers, dice, rulebook (Basic, Advanced, and Multi-Player rules), and Army Special Tactics rules sheet.

Army Set Expansion Packs
You can stage other famous historical battles, or make up your own with lots of different army set expansion packs (sold separately). Each expansion pack comes with 6 unpainted 54mm plastic soldiers ready for battle.
